Soroptimist International of Washoe County is one of three Soroptimist
International clubs located in the Truckee Meadows. SIWC meets at
La Fuente Mexican Restaurant on the second Tuesday of each month
for our dinner meeting from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. A $12 fee covers the
cost for your dinner.
Our club was organized specifically for women looking to get involved
in and give back to the community, but whose busy schedule does not
allow her to meet weekly or during the day, as required by other clubs.
Membership gives you the opportunity to meet new friends, network,
enjoy a shared vision, have fun and most of all, make a difference in
the lives of women and children!
Annual club dues are $100; new members pay an additional $20 for
their initial year.
Membership requirements include attending most of the monthly
business meetings, serving on one committee, participating in club
activities whenever possible, and supporting our fundraising efforts
with your time and energy.
We welcome guests at our regularly scheduled Business Meetings!
