The Kids Kottage is a protective shelter where children
are taken after they have been removed from their
families. The children are there because their families
are suspected of severe abuse, neglect, or because
no one else is available to
care for them during parental
incarceration or hospitalization.
Soroptimist International of Washoe County supports
these children by hosting events throughout the year
to lift their spirits and let them know that someone cares.
Supporting the Kids Kottage has been the primary
youth-program focus since our Club began in 2005.
